JOB TITLE: Process Technician / Set-up STATUS: Hourly
REPORTS TO: Plant Manager DATE: August 2026
Position Summary:
Responsible for all injection molding set-up, start-up, shut down, quality checks, continuous improvement, safety, and other duties assigned by the Plant Manager.
Job Type:
- Full time, Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Set up, start, sample, and shut down injection molds
- Monitor machine performance and optimize material-to-product yield
- Implement Lean Manufacturing standards and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain quality standards throughout production
- Train and coach new employees on processes and safety
- Ensure safe operation of equipment and compliance with company policies
- Coordinate daily production resources to meet schedule attainment and on-time delivery
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience setting, starting, and sampling injection molds
- Forklift Certification and Overhead Crane Certification
- Working knowledge of injection molding support systems (quality, supply chain, etc.)
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong knowledge of injection molds and polymers (Cincinnati Milacron experience preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
